Long time, No post : )

I am still here.  Still painting.  Although this painting job sucks!!  I decided to tackle all of the yellowed maple trim in our home.  I know once it is all bright white, it will be worth it, but for now it sucks : ).  I am using a lot of frog tape, liquid sander, sand paper, primer and paint.  I decided to go with Sherwin Williams "Extra White" for all of the trim and molding in the house.  I have talked my husband into replacing all of our short, builder-grade base molding with taller molding.  So, I will be able to paint that out in the garage before it is installed.... no taping the floors and walls off!!

And, if that wasn't enough madness, I also just painted the kid's bathroom vanity with Annie Sloan's "Duck Egg".  I will try and post the "After" pictures of that project soon!

A Quick Bathroom Update....

I finally got around to the kid's bathroom : ).  Since we moved back into our home in April, this is one of the last rooms to get repainted.  The walls started out a soft buttery yellow color.  I really liked the color, but needed a change.  I decided on a soft grey by Benjamin Moore called "Silver Satin".  It is hard to tell from these pictures, but the color is much brighter than the yellow!  I purchased the wall shelf used, and painted it with ASCP "Duck Egg". I also bought 2 white frames from Target for the silhouettes and painted those in Duck Egg as well.  The vintage items on the shelf were purchased from a local antique store.  My plan is to retile the room and paint the vanity and trim with a bright white.  But, for now, this will do : )
