French Provincial Tables

I picked up this pair of french provincial side tables on CL.  I sanded the tops down and stained with Minwax Dark Walnut.  For the bases, I tried a new Annie Sloan color:  Louis Blue.  I LOVE it!  It is a beautiful soft blue.  I then distressed and waxed.  The tops are sealed with a clear poly.

  1. Hi Sarah - they look gorgeous ( but they look white? )
Love the contrast between the wood tops and painted bodies

  3. these are so pretty! I love them! I have made my own chalk paint but I am going to actually buy some annie sloan chalkpaint tomorrow. I think it will actually be a lot better than making my own.
