The Piano Table

This is a "piano table"... or so the CL posting said.  It has a flip open top.  It was listed for FREE on Craigslist (LOVE that).  I think it would work well as a sofa table or an entry way table.  I painted it with 1 coat of ASCP in "Aubusson" and then heavily distressed and sealed with a clear poly.

Another Dresser : )

It's no secret that dressers are my favorite pieces of furniture to redo.  I found this one on CL and it was in really great shape to start.  The top was pretty beat up, but other than that, it was fine.  I sanded the top down with my orbital sander and stained it with Minwax "Dark Walnut".  I then sanded the drawer fronts down a little because there were a few scratches.  I painted the whole thing with ASCP in "Aubusson" and then heavily distressed.  The entire piece is sealed with clear poly.  I gave the hardware a quick update with an oil rubbed bronze spray.

Shutter Centerpiece

I recently purchased this old dirty shutter.  I decided to paint it with my new favorite Annie Sloan color: Aubusson Blue.  I then distressed it and it is now sitting on my kitchen table.  I paired it with my favorite burlap runner and vintage chic feeder filled with artichokes.

Oak Coffee Table

This was one of those pieces that I knew immediately what I wanted to do with it.  I found it on Craigslist in early June and emailed and made an offer.  The seller said she wanted to wait awhile to see if she could get what she was asking.  After we got back from our vacation in Mid JULY, I emailed her again and this time she accepted my offer : ).  It was your typical golden oak coffee table.  I sanded down the top and stained it with Minwax "Dark Walnut".  I painted the base of the table with Annie Sloan "Graphite".  I then used both the Annie Sloan clear and dark waxes and replaced the knob with a mercury glass knob from Anthropologie.
