A Pair Of Stools

I found this pair of stools at a store for $6 each.  They started out like the stools you see in every store.  White legs, natural stained seats.  Boring.

The only reason these stools caught my eye was because of this post at Lovely Etc.  This is an amazing blog with great ideas.  So, I decided to do my own version of this redo, using my favorite ASCP in Duck Egg.  An easy, inexpensive update to a pair of boring stools.  And, apparently they were a hit, because there were one of the first things that sold in my booth at Mama's Happy : )

  5. Wow, what a fantastic idea. I have three stools my neighbor just gave me, they look like your befores. I have been thinking about how to "redoux" them. I love the dark stain with the little painted details. I am so going to try this, hope they sell fast for me too! Thank you so much for sharing. -K

  8. The stools look great. I love blue and brown together. I've got a stool just like yours in it's before state. I've been trying to think of ways to redo it. First I have to decide what room it's going to be in...I keep moving it around.
Thanks for inspiring. I'm looking forward to more inspiration as a new Linky Follower.
