Our family just moved from Virginia Beach back to MN in December. The house we lived in for 2 years was a mile from the airfield that the doomed fighter jet took off from this afternoon in Virginia Beach. Lots of prayers going out to everyone affected by today's tragedy.
It was always a fear of mine that one would crash into our home. We had jets flying directly overhead all day, everyday. I just hope that the news reports are correct and that there are no fatalities. Also, I am very thankful that the pilots were able to safely eject before the crash.
