I picked up this super cute antique desk off of Craigslist....and yes, that amazing vintage typewriter came with it : ) The top was trashed, but the rest of it seemed to be in great shape. I sanded the top and stained it using Minwax Dark Walnut. I sanded the rest of the desk down and painted with ASCP Paris Grey. I then distressed and waxed using both AS clear and dark waxes. I cleaned the original hardware and sealed the top with a clear poly. Please excuse the "after" photos....I'm in the middle of moving and loading my booth and have no time to haul it inside and stage it...plus my hubby is out of town!!

Sarah, what a great metamorphosis! Love the color you chose. You are going to so enjoy that. Now will you be exchanging your computer for that wonderful, old typewriter? ;) Don't you love those! BTW, I noticed your photo didn't stick on your link so I went into InLinkz and added one. If it ever does that, you can click on the little X and delete it and readd it if you want...or let me know and I'll add it from InLinkz. :)
