You've done a lovely job - it's gorgeous, such a beautiful colour!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Heather!!
Deletevery pretty I've always wondered what to do with a dresser with a missing drawer. In my neck of the woods they can be had for free or almost free and its a waste to see them go to the dump. I hadn't really considered the shelf idea. It looks great!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Debra! I appreciate it!
DeleteI always love the colors that you choose:) This is another great piece! Love to see you at the cheap finds and transformations party this week, have a good one! http://www.thescottscrib.com/2012/03/lathriftas-cheap-finds-and.html
ReplyDeleteThanks, Latyoya!

DeleteThat looks beautiful! And what a great idea to just fit a new piece of wood in place of the bad drawer! I'll have to keep that in mind :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rachel!

DeleteLooks great--the blue and natural wood go great together!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Steph!!
DeleteGreat redo! Maybe that's what I should do with my stubborn drawer - ditch it for a shelf! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
DeleteI love how this turned out Sarah! The colors and wood go so nice together!
ReplyDeleteI've been seeing some folks use these for an entertainment center, putting the electronic gadgets in the empty space.
Hope you hung onto the drawer, I've seen on Pinterest people hanging them as a shelf etc.
Thanks, Norma. I actually have a DVD player on the shelf in one of the photos... a little hard to tell!! I have saved the drawer to do just that with it!!
DeleteGreat color choice, and I also love the knobs!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I got the knobs on clearance at Anthropologie!
Deletei love the two toned look on this one- it's perfect!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cassie!!!

DeleteLooks amazing! I love when these dressers that have been abused are brought back to life. What thrift stores do you love?
ReplyDeleteAllison
Thanks, Allison!! We have a new Goodwill around here that I am usually able to find great things at. I also spend some time each day on Craigslist. There is a store about 5 minutes from here called "Garagedale"... that has amazing finds as well : )
DeleteVery pretty! Add me please to your party link and stop over Thursday to link this beauty up! I would love to have you there!
