My Take On Jack

This is a very cheap, simple update to a mirror I found at Goodwill.  It was marked $9.99 (or so I thought).  But, when I got up to the counter to check out, she said it was marked $4.99!  This is a solid, heavy mirror.  I simply sanded it down, and then put 2 coats of ASCP Old White over the entire frame.  After the paint had dried, I then taped off the frame to paint my own version of a Union Jack.  I used ASCP Paris Grey, and a darker grey Behr paint called Magnetite.  I then distressed and finished it off with AS clear wax.

  5. I posted Union Jack items on Miss Mustard Seed tonight and decided that would be how I blog-hopped - through the Jacks! How quirky to use the design, but change the color. Love that the mirror would fit in any decor.
